CPC (cost per click) reduction – $3.35

Monthly ad spend reduction – $10,300

Why are we talking about reduction in cost here? Because this is the first task we had when we started working with this client in April 2023.

TKV Group are Australia’s leading supplier of track & undercarriage solutions for construction & agricultural machinery. They have multiple locations throughout Australia and a first-class sales team with unmatched delivery and support services. Prior to us taking on the account, their in-house marketing team were steadily increasing their spend on their Google advertising campaigns in the hope that sales growth would follow, but finding this wasn’t increasing sales as expected, they called us in.

After a full analysis of the account, we soon saw that they were just throwing money at it but there were some fundamental issues. So our first objective was to turn the campaign round so that they were getting a profitable return on their spend. To achieve this, we worked through a structured programme so that within 4 months we had reduced their monthly ad spend by over $10k. The effect on sales? They increased! Not only had we reduced their spend, but the quality of the leads had improved to the point where a very small reduction in the number of enquiries had been offset by better converting enquiries.

In addition to the Google campaign, we also set up a campaign on Facebook to increase brand awareness and retarget engaged audiences, along with working through a full SEO strategy to maximise sales growth through a multi-channel approach. Now the campaigns are profitable, we are building new campaigns and will scale up in the months ahead.
