Quest Hardware is a UK-based supplier specialising in premium kitchen, furniture and joinery hardware. They stock a broad range of components — from cabinet hinges, handles, knobs and drawer runners to LED lighting, sliding systems, fixings and consumables. Quest Hardware partnered with us in July 2023 to scale online sales through paid Social.
Before partnering with us, Quest Hardware had minimal digital marketing activity, relying mainly on organic traffic and limited Google Ads to drive sales. Despite a strong industry reputation, their online marketing lacked structure, tracking, and a clear growth strategy. Targeting was broad and inefficient, making it difficult to reach their key trade and DIY audiences effectively. As a result, ad spend performance was poor, conversions were inconsistent, and there was no defined roadmap to scale online sales.
To establish a scalable paid social foundation, our Meta Ads strategy focused on driving direct e-commerce sales. Product sales pages were optimised to streamline the user journey and facilitate direct purchases. Market research was thoroughly conducted, and key customer segments have been identified, focusing on trade and joinery experts and similar interest groups.
Using Meta’s Dynamic Creative Technology, we tested multiple ad variations to identify top-performing creatives and audiences, reallocating budget toward the highest-converting ad combinations. Our creative strategy focused mainly on Quest’s hardware products in action, including lifestyle and product demonstration visuals, to achieve optimal engagement and credibility. We also introduced bundled product campaigns, capitalising on high-performing categories such as LED lighting to increase average order value and improve revenue efficiency.
In the very first month of implementation of our Meta Ads strategy for Quest, we generated an additional £19,376.44 in revenue from just £1,346.43 in ad spend, delivering an impressive 1,439% return on ad spend (ROAS). The strongest results came from campaigns using Dynamic Creative Technology (DCT) and LED product bundle promotions.
Video creatives resonated most with our target avatar, driving most add-to-carts and purchases. Using our structured, data-driven approach, we transformed Quest's paid social from an underperforming channel into a profitable revenue stream for their e-commerce business.
