Cambrian Packaging is a UK supplier of rigid packaging. Their product range covers plastics, glass, closures, and spray heads serving industries such as food, automotive and more recently personal care.
As a purely B2B business, their website is designed to generate enquiries so the experts in the sales team can complete consultations. Cambrian Packaging partnered with us in May 2025 to identify and scale revenue generated through Google Ads and SEO.
Before working with Avante Media, Cambrian Packaging were reliant on an external agency managing their marketing spend, but had no measurable return on their investment in revenue terms. The reports they were receiving only showed engagement and conversion data such as form submissions, phone clicks and spec sheet downloads. While these events are important to track, alone they do not provide an accurate representation of lead value or ultimately, ROI.
Despite their efforts to track which traffic sources were generating the qualified leads and which were driving sales, they were unable to identify this. They were looking for key metrics that truly mattered to the company, such as new customers acquired, quoted opportunities and closed sales. Without this level of clarity, Cambrian Packaging were struggling to make more informed, data-driven decisions about where and how to allocate marketing investment across their digital channels.
Avante Media partnered with Cambrian to create a data-driven marketing framework that aligned Google Ads and SEO activity directly with real business metrics: leads, quotes and sales. We started onboarding by integrating our own bespoke tracking system with Cambrian’s CRM, to link leads to quoted opportunities and sales. Using this data our expert team built an in-depth strategy, focusing on high value quotable opportunities and Cambrian’s own business goals. This included: • Launching highly targeted paid search campaigns that struck the right balance between Cambrian’s wider growth goals and attracting genuinely high-value leads. • We built a content strategy designed to improve search rankings and Cambrian’s visibility across key industries. • To keep everything transparent, we introduced reporting dashboards that gave the team a real-time view of spend, lead value, and ROI. • To make sure insights turned into action, we set up regular check-ins to review performance and share clear, data-backed recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Since partnering with Avante Media, Cambrian had the reporting they required and seen consistent improvement in revenue across both paid and organic channels. By restructuring campaigns around higher-value opportunities and aligning activity with Cambrian’s wider growth goals, we delivered a 1,184% increase in return on ad spend (ROAS) in the 3rd month compared to the 1st month. This uplift wasn’t just visible in closed revenue, it extended across the pipeline too. With the value of quoted opportunities increasing month-on-month since partnership. Click-through rate rose from 4.84% to 7.52%, showing that targeting and messaging were more closely aligned to the audiences most likely to convert.
